Description

Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN The organization is seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a busy and highly specialized NICU. The role involves providing patient care to a diverse neonatal population, including micro-premies, VLBW infants, and post-surgical patients, within a Level III-IV neonatal intensive care environment.

Job Details

Position Description: NICU RN with at least 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; NCC Neonatal ICU RN preferred.
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid RN license, minimum of 3 years of NICU experience in a Level III-IV environment, and must test negative for nicotine.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026 and ending on 02/14/2027.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal patient care, assist with advanced procedures such as ECMO and nitric oxide therapies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Ancillary Assistance: 1-2 PCTs per shift, with advanced practice presence on the unit.
Operational Details: Expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing; no on-call requirement; every other weekend and holiday work required.
EMR/System Use: Electronic Medical Record system is EPIC; Pyxis medication system utilized.
Additional Information: Floating within ICU clusters (NICU, PICU, Burn) is required; unit experienced with complex neonatal cases including prematurity, congenital abnormalities, and post-surgical care.
