Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the Region This position involves providing care for patients experiencing acute medical conditions in a high-volume emergency department. The ER Nurse will work primarily overnight shifts, supporting multiple hospitals within the region, and float between facilities as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse working in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment with a focus on emergency care for patients with conditions such as stroke, trauma, STEMI, and ACS.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC All certifications are required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing is preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role includes supporting various hospitals within a regional system, with flexibility to float among different facilities as needed. Orientation includes one day of floor-specific training. The job involves working every other weekend and occasionally on holidays.
• Certifications & Licenses: Must hold valid licenses and be willing to wait for license submission.
• Special Notes: The assignment begins on 11/09/2026 and ends on 02/08/2027. The nurse will support a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3-4:1 and work in a unit with 33 beds, including trauma bays and seclusion rooms. The role requires experience with Epic EMR and includes clinical responsibilities such as lab draws and IV management.
