Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) General Medicine, Nights, in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing direct patient care within a Med Surg/Telemetry unit, supporting a diverse patient population with conditions such as GI bleeds, COPD, CHF, and sepsis. The position requires a team-oriented approach and the ability to adapt to a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour Night shift, with a schedule of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Nursing (RN license), minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing, valid nursing license, and current Nursys/license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience is preferred.
• Responsibilities: Providing bedside care to patients with varied medical conditions, supporting ancillary services such as phlebotomy and EKG procedures, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
• Additional Information: This role includes charge responsibilities with appropriate training and pay differentials. The unit supports a patient ratio of approximately 1:6 and operates within a teaching hospital environment, engaging with students and new hires regularly. Candidates must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day).
• Submission Requirements: Work history with at least 2 years of minimum experience, explanation of all employment gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, and a copy of Nursys/license.
