Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Surgical Technologist (CVOR CST) in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves supporting cardiac surgeries within a specialized cardiovascular operating room environment. The position requires proficiency in open heart procedures and collaborative team participation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Position Description: Support the cardiovascular operating room team with responsibilities related to open heart surgeries, including procedures such as CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), current BLS, DORA, and NBSTA certifications, with a minimum of 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, previous travel experience as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities, and cardiovascular procedure experience.
Additional Information: Must have proficiency in open heart surgical procedures, be flexible, confident, and a team player. Responsibilities include working within unit policies and collaborating effectively with staff and providers. Candidates should be comfortable with float requirements within 25 miles of the facility. Call requirements will vary and will be discussed at the interview. No weekend shifts are required.
