Description

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN in the healthcare industrylocated in the region. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and health counseling to patients.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift length, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities include evaluating health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data, executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation as needed, reviewing and monitoring therapy and treatment plans, documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and promoting the organizations mission, vision, and values.
May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and meet all necessary certification and licensure requirements.
