Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse, MS Specialty, located in a healthcare facility setting, provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical Floor environment. The role involves independent nursing functions, patient assessment, health education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support patient well-being.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 3-12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and 1+ year of travel experience, neuro/stroke experience.
• Responsibilities include assessing patient health status, executing delegated medical functions, providing health teaching and counseling, documenting care activities, and participating in team-based care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and relevant certifications for the unit or service.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts based on staffing needs.
• Submission of current licensure and certifications required to be considered.
