Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location: Not specified. This position involves providing urgent care in a fast-paced emergency department with a high volume of pediatric and adult trauma, STEMI, stroke center protocols, and mental health patient management. The role includes working in both fast track and main ER beds, handling a variety of patient diagnoses in a dynamic environment.

- Position Description: ER Nurse working in a 12-bed fast track unit and main ER beds, including trauma bays. Responsibilities include managing general emergency cases, trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and mental health patients. The unit operates 12-hour night shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS; Education Requirements: not specified; Experience: 3 years minimum in ER; Location Requirements: valid licensure to submit; Shift: 12-hour night shifts including weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Large pediatric experience and a background handling adult and pediatric trauma patients in a high-volume emergency environment.
- Additional Information: The unit is rapidly paced, with a mixture of long-term and new staff working to foster a positive culture. The ER handles general, trauma, pediatric, and stroke patients, with timely interventions for sepsis, trauma, and mental health. The environment involves frequent patient monitoring, collaboration with physicians and midlevels, and a variety of procedures including phlebotomy and ventilator troubleshooting.
