This assignment involves providing specialized telemetry nursing care in a hospital setting. The Telemetry Nurse will assess, plan, and deliver direct clinical care to patients on the post-operative, neuro, and cardiac step-down units, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and resource management during evening shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, degree requirements, location requirements, and years of experience.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will work on a neuro telemetry, post-op, and cardiac step-down units with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:7. All staff must call the house supervisor for any nurse cancellations.
