Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technologist (ORT CERT) in the operating room (OR) setting. This position involves preparing the surgical environment, passing instruments, managing equipment, and ensuring the sterile field during surgical procedures. The role requires adherence to established safety and procedural protocols to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Surgical technologists prepare the operating room, including the sterile field, setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions. During surgery, they pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon, manage surgical equipment, and perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects. They are certified following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program and the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), CST Certification, Education Requirements: Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program or equivalent, Experience: 2+ years CST experience, Location: Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Schedule: Days, 4 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotics experience
• Schedule: Days4 10-hour shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position is for an upcoming 13-week assignment beginning 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027. It may require rotating weekends and on-call duties.
