Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures. The nurse will assist physicians with advanced tasks and equipment, including cardiopulmonary bypass, trans-esophageal echocardiogram studies, and vascular access and interventions, ensuring high-quality patient care in accordance with professional standards.
Job Details
- Certifications: Current, valid RN license in practice state or eligible license, BLS certification required.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of one year RN experience; experience in operating room and/or cardiovascular or vascular setting preferred.
- Location Requirements: No specific geographic restrictions.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role requires rotating weekends, holidays, on-call, and float duties according to department guidelines.
