Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Alexandria, LA This position involves providing patient care on a 36-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing services to adult patients, utilizing advanced telemetry equipment, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days
- Shift Hours: 12
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 48.0
- Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) must be IN SUBMISSION PACKET, and experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry units
- Schedule: Day shift with every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
- Certifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Additional Information: Unit includes 36 beds with a staff of 32, comprising RNs, LPNs, techs, and administrative staff. Typical procedures include Heart Caths. Candidates should possess strong time management and critical thinking skills with a positive attitude and helpful demeanor. Candidates without experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry will not be considered. No RTO (Request for Time Off) or special scheduling requests will be accommodated.
