Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position in a healthcare facility located near Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry, including post vascular procedures, post cath lab, and general tele patients, with ability to interpret EKGs. The position requires floating across units and campuses, in addition to titrating cardiac drips and passing a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing the contract.

Job Details

• Certifications & Education Requirements: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week, including every other weekend, and work scheduled holidays.
• Responsibilities: Titrate cardiac medication drips, interpret EKGs, manage post vascular, cardiac, and neuro patients, and float across multiple units as needed.
• Additional Information: Float rotation may be required. All travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer; failure results in removal from the assignment and a 6-month eligibility ban for specified regions. Orientation includes 2 days on the floor. Shift notifications will be provided 1.5 hours before start times. Floating may include units such as ICU, Cardiac Tele, MedSurg, and observation. Vaccination and credential checks are standard prerequisites for compliance.
