Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician with expertise in operating room procedures for a role based in Reno, NV. This position involves supporting a busy Level 2 trauma center by providing technical patient care, preparing surgical equipment, and assisting during complex surgical procedures across multiple service lines, including robotics, neuro, vascular, and orthopedics.

Job Details

• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association required.
• Education Requirements: 2 years of experience in operating room or trauma settings. Prior travel experience required.
• Experience Required: 2 years of clinical experience in the operating room.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be available to work in Reno, NV.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Qualifications: Proficiency in multiple service lines, including robotics, neuro, vascular, and orthopedics, is essential. Applicants should be capable of supporting various specialties and flexible to float to meet organizational needs.
• Responsibilities: Support surgical teams by maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, handling equipment, and assisting with patient care during surgeries. Ensuring equipment functionality and assisting with room turnover are key duties.
