Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse for a healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency care to patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with a focus on trauma, pediatrics, and general emergency conditions. The role requires delivering quality patient outcomes while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Job Details
- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Area healthcare facility
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, with start date of 11/16/2026 and end date of 02/15/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC certifications, minimum 2 years of ER experience, ability to pass clinical interview, and pass/fail exam during orientation with a 90% pass rate
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing trauma and pediatric patients, familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
- Responsibilities: Providing emergency care including trauma response, pediatrics, and general medical conditions; managing ER holds and patient triage; collaborating with in-house EMS and flight teams; interpreting X-rays and CT scans; performing phlebotomy and breathing treatments; and maintaining safety and compliance standards
- Schedule Details: Night shift from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, based on shift availability
