Job Summary
Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI Lab) professional position in the area. This role involves providing patient care in a specialized GI Lab environment, including procedures, recovery, and patient admission responsibilities, often requiring documented recovery experience. The position is scheduled for day shifts with varying start times, and may require float between multiple labs.

Job Details

• Position: RN for GI Lab, with documented recovery experience, licensed in Illinois, and CPR and ACLS certified.
• Education and Experience: IL license, CPR, ACLS certification, 2+ years of experience in gastroenterology laboratory or related areas, with preferred travel or PRN experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, with varying start times between 07:30 and 09:00, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include admitting patients, recovering patients in phase II, and assisting in procedural environments.
• Additional Information: The orientation schedule includes approximately 6-8 hours of EKG testing, modules, and Epic test out. Submission requires an updated resume, two current references, updated skills checklist, and passing an EKG test with 80% or above.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, covering Highland Park, Skokie, and Evanston GI labs.
