Description
Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Baltimore, MD. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing surgical procedures, including orthopedic, spine, trauma, neuro-surgery, and general surgery cases. The role requires experience in pre and post bedside surgical care within an acute inpatient tele unit.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RN license; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; BLS.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience; 1-2 travel assignments.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities: Provide bedside surgical care for adult patients with orthopedic, spine, trauma, neuro-surgery, and general surgery needs. Assist with patient monitoring, assessments, and post-operative care. Follow established clinical protocols and safety procedures.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have prior experience working on a unit with surgery patients and have current licensure.
