Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR PEDS) Milwaukee, Wisconsin
This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients in a hospital's operating room setting. The position encompasses a mix of weekend and weekday shifts, with guaranteed hours and on-call responsibilities to support surgical procedures and patient safety.

Job Details

Position Description: OR PEDS Registered Nurse responsible for pediatric perioperative care in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications: Unencumbered Wisconsin or Compact Registered Nurse license; current AHA Basic Life Support certification; minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience; experience with pediatric patients is required.
Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, 0650-1920, plus two 8-hour weekday shifts (0650-1520); total of 40 hours per week; orientation is two weeks, Monday-Friday, 0700-1530.
Additional Information: Traveler may float to surgicenter as needed and may be asked to provide in-house on-call coverage, including overnight stays if necessary. Precepting may be required during this assignment.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Certifications: AHA BLS.
Other Requirements: Flu vaccine required; jewelry restrictions include a single small nose stud; no body piercings besides earrings.
Interview Days: Monday through Friday via manager phone interview or MSP interview.
