Job Details

Position Details: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (MS REHAB) at an acute rehabilitation unit with 13 beds.
Schedule: Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, spanning operationally across a 12-hour shift.
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; 0.0 years of experience required; Location in Ottumwa, IA; Successful completion of criminal background checks, mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult), and recent titers within last 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience preferred but not required; MedSurg experience, LTAC, or similar backgrounds; familiarity with neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac treatments are advantageous.
Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care experience and be able to work independently on an inpatient rehabilitation unit with adult and geriatric patients. No float requirement specified explicitly, but clinical versatility in MedSurg is beneficial.
