Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse This position is based in a healthcare facility that specializes in providing long-term care and telemetry services. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care during night shifts, utilizing critical thinking and leadership skills to meet patient needs in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Job Details

• Position Description: The LTC/Telemetry Registered Nurse maintains shift accountability for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities to staff based on their education and experience; and provides supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
• Certifications: Must have ACLS and BLS certifications, which must be through the American Heart Association.
• Licenses: Must have a Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license, attached to the resume.
• Experience: 0 years of clinical experience required.
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, and preferred wound care experience. The candidate must be willing to work during peak periods. All submissions must include the required documentation such as ACLS & BLS certifications, license information, and relevant clinical experience, along with necessary administrative and compliance documentation.
