Job Summary
Step Down Unit RN - Night Shift - Locally in an unspecified location. This role involves providing patient care in a Step Down (Progressive Care Unit) setting within a healthcare facility. The position requires adaptable skills in both PCU and Medical-Surgical Telemetry Acute Care environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with moderate acuity needs.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Nursing license, completion of the RN program, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant healthcare experience.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current nursing license, RN certification, minimum 1 year of experience in PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care, experience evaluating patients in a step-down environment, EPIC EMR experience, and completion of the Ascension Skills Checklist.
- Additional Information: The traveler will be assigned based on the unit's greatest need, whether in PCU or Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and must be able to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if necessary.
