A registered nurse with specialization in Step Down Unit is needed for a healthcare organization in the specified location. This position involves providing patient care within a Step Down Unit or similar setting, requiring a minimum of two years of acute care experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry, or similar environments. The role is suitable for experienced professionals comfortable with float responsibilities and working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Job Details
- Position Title: Registered Nurse Step Down Unit
- Location: Not specified, but within a 40-mile radius of the facility
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Valid nursing license, completion of STEP DOWN (RN) specialty exam and skills verification, EPIC proficiency, and professional references are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or similar acute care settings.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Will accept a Medical-Surgical or Step Down Registered Nurse with same credentialing for both skills. Will need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
- Submission Requirements: License verification, ascension profile, 2 professional references, skills checklist.
