Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) specialty Located in Tacoma, WA, this position involves providing high-acuity emergency care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The role requires delivering comprehensive emergency services in a Level II Trauma Center, with duties performed during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides emergency care to a diverse patient demographic, including trauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI, Stroke, DKA, mental health, and respiratory issues. Supports a high-acuity facility with an average of 140-150 patients daily.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB; active EPIC EMR experience; 0 years of experience; location in Tacoma, WA; flexible for night shifts; minimum one-year strong ED experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with possible schedule variations by week, including day, mid, and evening/night shifts.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes badge and EPIC training on the first day, with a 3-4 shift preceptorship. Telemetry competency must be completed and passed before start; support staff includes ER techs, resource/float nurses, security, and pharmacy available 24/7. Float rotation between two nearby EDs may be required, with prior notification.
