Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse is located at a healthcare facility and plays a vital role in patient evaluation and assisting physicians with patient care. The nurse will be responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to patient needs, as well as developing and coordinating individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (Med Surg)
• Location: Palisades Medical Center
• Schedule: 2 Day Shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, 1 winter holiday, no on-call requirement, float: float rotation may be required.
• Required Qualifications: NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, NIHSS certification, minimum 2 years recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience, ASN degree (preferred BSN).

• Additional Information:
  • Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages patient care.
  • Documents care based on standards of care and patient acuity.
  • Advocates for evidence-based practice standards and supports innovations in care delivery.
  • Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice.
  • Must have experience with Vent/Trach Care, Perinatal Dialysis, and Telemetry.
  • Requires proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Submission requirements include demonstrating current NJ RN licensure and certifications.
