Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse (MS) Location: Not specified. This position involves floating between units within the healthcare facility, providing comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care. The role requires delivering quality patient care in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical standards.
Job Details
- Position Description: 1ST TIMER - MS RN Req 11090; will position float between units; responsible for Med/Surg patient care with a focus on cerebrovascular accident, trauma, and neurological conditions.
- Certifications and Education: Current BLS certification; valid state license (compact license accepted) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including charge experience, patient ratio experience, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours minimum per week.
- Additional job requirements: Must have at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience, be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and be capable of float between units if required.
- Responsibilities: Providing patient care related to neuro-surgical, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury cases; maintaining proficient use of rapid response and code teams; adhering to isolation precautions and PPE standards.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must confirm if they have previous experience at a Providence facility, including location and dates worked, and provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
