Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This role involves providing patient care across different units within the healthcare organization with a focus on Med/Surg. The position requires flexibility in floating between units and adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Position Description: 1ST TIMER - MS RN - Req 11090. The RN will float between units as needed and work days shifts.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Skills: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, minimum of 1 year of experience, 2 years of experience preferred, 1-year travel experience preferred, at least 1 year of charge experience, EPIC charting system experience, and immunizations as required.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Candidates may be required to float between nearby facilities.
- Submission Requirements: Must include responses to specific candidate questions and provide 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
