Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Medical Center, Emergency Department, Nights. This position involves providing urgent and high-quality care to diverse patient populations in a busy emergency department setting. The role requires coordination with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, with a minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience and community hospital experience preferred.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional responsibilities include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, stroke and neuro-trauma care, and management of complex emergencies such as gunshot wounds and head injuries.
Candidates must be open to working holidays, with a commitment to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Experience in Epic charting system is required.
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are preferred.
RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be included at the time of submission; additional scheduling requests should be communicated upfront during submittal.
Applicants should have at least one year of experience in emergency nursing, with community hospital experience being advantageous.
Candidates must hold either a valid compact license or a license in the state of practice, with a focus on acute care and emergency nursing skills.
