Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse (Specialty: OR) Los Angeles, CA. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the operating room setting, adhering to established standards of care and the nursing process. The role requires supervising and directing nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shift from 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Responsibilities: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment findings to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and collaborates with the healthcare team to provide a safe, caring, and healing environment. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately.
• Additional Information: Directs and coordinates duties of healthcare team members; provides education to patients, families, and staff; and performs other duties as assigned. All associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
