Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Specialist - Days - in an acute care setting. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia, with responsibilities including monitoring vital signs and managing patient recovery in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience and certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Job Details

• Position Description: Unit focuses on PACU, Pre-operative, Recovery, and GI lab care.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Licensing: Valid license to submit to the organization.
• Schedule: Shift times are days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 11/09/2026.
• End Date: 02/08/2027.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes specify the unit type and note the use of the Cerner charting system.
  • This role requires scrub color navy.
  • The organization supports telecommunication for the role.
  • Call requirement includes participation during 2 out of 3 major holidays and every other weekend.
  • ICU patients may recover in PACU.
  • Hospital cancellation policy allows for canceling up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
