Job Details

• Position: RN, Medical Surgical Floor
• Location: Maryland
• Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (20:00-08:30), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications, and physical ability to work nights. Experience in medical-surgical care is preferred, with a minimum of 1-year experience.
• Patient ratio: 5-6 patients per nurse on nights
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Clinical skills include managing ports, blood product administration, chest tubes, IV management, wound care, and telemetry monitoring
• Responsibilities include monitoring adult and geriatric patients, managing complex medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Additional Information: Floating within the specialty is required without restrictions. Candidates must be comfortable with interdisciplinary support services and working in a high-acuity environment. The onboarding process includes a 24-hour orientation.
• Submissions: All qualified candidates must submit proof of certifications and license as part of the onboarding process.
