Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (OR Technologist) for a position within the OR specialty. The role involves problem analysis and resolution tasks, supporting surgical procedures in a hospital setting. The technician will be responsible for assisting with general, neuro, orthopedic, and robotic cases, ensuring clinical standards and safety protocols are maintained.

Job Details

Position: Surgical Technician (OR Technologist)
Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a schedule of two shifts every other weekend, including 20 hours of on-call duty during weekdays and weekends within a four-week period, with a response time of 30 minutes.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of three years' experience as a scrub person in a hospital setting; licensure from an approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training; Scrub Tech Certification preferred; BLS for Healthcare Providers required; strong heart proficiency; competent in orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures when working on general cases when no heart cases are scheduled; high school education or higher preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training; Scrub Tech Certification.
Schedule: 12-hour shift, 36 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/13/2027.
