Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN Johnstown, PA. This position involves providing specialized care in a cardiac-focused unit within a regional tertiary care hospital. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care to a geriatric population with cardiac diagnoses, including post-cardiac catheterization, pacemaker management, and other cardiovascular procedures.

Job Details

• Position: RN, BLS certification required, with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on cardiac patients.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience preferred, ability to work in Johnstown, PA, and availability for a schedule starting 11/09/2026 through 02/08/2027.
• Responsibilities include caring for cardiac geriatric patients, administering medication, monitoring pacers and Alines, and documenting patient care using electronic health records.
• Unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, and float requirements are minimal but may include floating to 1:1s depending on staffing needs.
• Candidates must complete all screening and background requirements prior to start.
