Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) Critical Access Facility. Located in a teaching hospital environment, this position involves float between units to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. The role is scheduled for night shifts with on-call responsibilities, supporting a team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Job Details

• Location: Critical Access / No Trauma
• Position Description: Medical Surgical RN with previous hospital experience, capable of managing adult and geriatric patient care in a hospital setting.
• Certifications, Education, Degree, and Experience Requirements: BLS certification required; minimum of 1 year hospital experience; valid state license (compact licenses accepted); no specific degree requirement listed; location requirement: must possess a valid license in the relevant state.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Prior hospital experience, BLS certification, current valid license (compact accepted), ability to float between units, and at least 1 year of hospital experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, patient ratios of 1:5, and availability to work every other weekend and on holidays with schedule flexibility.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have skills in blood product administration, central line blood draws, IV starts and management, surgical drain care, and respiratory support, including oxygen administration and nasal cannula. Willingness to work holidays and commit to scheduled on-call shifts is required. Candidates must have completed orientation hours prior to start and comply with facility policies regarding references and prior work experience at a related facility.
