Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab RN Location: Salem. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) laboratory. The role requires experienced healthcare professionals to perform procedures such as PCI, device implantations, ablations, and use of devices like impella and balloon pumps, primarily serving adult patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm, with 7 on-call nights per month, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) and four additional nights.
- Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification, 4+ years of experience in Cath/EP Lab, Interventional Cardiac, and scrub experience, and proficiency in EPIC - cupid EMR.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient population and familiarity with Cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Responsibilities include assisting with and performing interventional cardiology procedures, patient monitoring, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols within the Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
- Certifications: Required: AHA ACLS Certification.
