Job Summary
Maine Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) in the OR (Operating Room) specialty located in Portland, Maine. This position involves assisting in primary scrubbing for ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) cases within a busy surgical environment, supporting various surgical procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room. The role requires a dedicated professional with experience in trauma and specialized surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required, with at least 3 years of clinical experience in the appropriate surgical specialties. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Position Responsibilities: Assist in primary scrubbing for ENT cases, support OR team with surgical procedures, and adhere to hospital dress code with teal scrubs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general, GU/GYN, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, or endovascular procedures is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Must have a strong ENT procedural background. Single Port Robot experience is helpful but not required. Flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and team orientation are essential traits.
