Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse for a travel assignment in the Morristown area. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill patients, performing comprehensive assessments, and supporting the perioperative team with pre-operative and postoperative care. The position requires clinical expertise in ICU settings and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
Job Details
- Position: ICU Nurse
- Location: Morristown
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; RN Licensed; BLS (Basic Life Support) Certified; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certified; 1 year ICU experience required.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support pre-admission testing and evaluation of patient testing orders, ensure accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Special Skills: Patient assessment, direct patient care, emergency equipment and procedures, documentation, nursing care, and adherence to national safety goals and protocols.
- Schedule Notes: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every third weekend and holiday coverage required.
- Submission Requirements: All qualified candidates must possess current ICU experience and applicable licensure.
