Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse position is available in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on cardiac telemetry monitoring during night shifts. The position requires flexibility to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.

Job Details

• Certifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Education Requirements: Must have a BSN.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must have prior travel experience within the past 12 months.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred, but 0 years minimum required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, charting experience with Epic electronic medical record system, familiarity with managing ports, blood product administration, managing cardiac drips, interpretation of dysrhythmias, use of PPE and isolation precautions, management of IVs and PICC lines, and managing various respiratory supports.
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, with a daily census of approximately 20 patients and a team-based interdisciplinary support system including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more. Candidates must have prior travel within 12 months and meet Module and documentation requirements including COVID vaccination and booster proof.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
