Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care for adult and geriatric populations, with a focus on cardiac telemetry monitoring and management. The position requires adaptability to float across different units within the organization.

Job Details

Certifications: California RN License, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including cardiac telemetry, with prior travel experience preferred
Location Requirements: Must have prior travel within 12 months
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities include managing cardiac telemetry, administering blood products, performing IV insertion, patient monitoring, and operating specialized equipment such as chest tubes, PICC lines, and wound vacs.
Additional notes: Must have prior teaching hospital experience preferred; float rotation may be required; must confirm COVID-19 vaccination and booster prior to start, with proof of vaccination/appointment submitted upon submission.
