Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Location: Milwaukie, Oregon. This position involves floating between units at a short-term acute care facility, providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work with various patient acuities within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid state license, ACLS, BLS certifications; at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Delivering comprehensive nursing care, including blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, and management of cardiac drips and dysrhythmias.
- Additional Responsibilities: Managing postoperative care for cardiac procedures, tracheostomy care, wound care, and working with rapid response teams.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in telemetry units and familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for assignment and be able to float to other units as needed; candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless scheduled for an interview.
- Submission Requirements: Include responses to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility and provide two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
