Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Simi Valley, California. This role delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent judgment. The position also supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and supports safe, compassionate patient outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The nurse may take one holiday off and must be willing to work the other holiday.
Assignment Dates: 11/09/202601/31/2027.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; required vaccinations, where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and acute care facility experience.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, delegating appropriately, and promoting a safe and healing care environment.
