Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Specialist position is located in Green Bay, WI, at a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on supporting surgical procedures across various specialty areas. This role involves assisting with surgical cases, preparing instruments, and providing sterile services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Certifications Required: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Education Requirements: Active licensure and certifications as specified.
• Position involves working in the OR supporting general, robotics, ENT, plastic, urology, bariatrics, gynecology, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, and other specialty surgeries.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR scrub experience required; experience in robotics (DaVinci XI) is mandatory, especially for scrub technicians and RNs.
• Additional qualifications include the ability to perform neuro and orthopedic surgeries and familiarity with specialized equipment such as EMR (EPIC) and Medications dispensing systems (Pyxis).
• Float: Float rotation may be required between the main operating room and east side within the same building, and occasionally to a surgery center across town.
• Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, sterile processing, patient positioning, and supporting the surgical team.
• The position requires working on weekends and holidays as needed, with no call duties.
