Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse for a travel assignment in the ICU department. This role involves providing critical care for patients with complex medical conditions, including trauma, stroke, and post-surgical care, within a 32-bed unit with all private rooms.

Job Details:

• Position Description: ICU Nurse in a 32-bed unit with private rooms, caring for trauma, stroke, cardiac, and surgical patients. Responsibilities include bedside report, managing critical drips (e.g., Cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine), ventilator management, and interpreting Nihon Kohden monitors. Self-confidence and familiarity with prophyactic bundles for stroke and cardiac patients, as well as VAP bundles, are essential. Experience with sheath pulling is preferred. Shifts are 12 hours, nights from 7p to 7a, with every other weekend work and two to three holidays per assignment. Floating may be required to telehealth or emergency departments.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), at least 2 years of ICU experience, and a minimum of 1 year travel experience. Must have a current license to submit and be familiar with Cerner electronic charting system.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7p to 7a, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Urgent need for self-confident ICU nurses experienced in bedside report,Sheath pulling preferred, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment with a diverse staff, including many Filipino team members. Familiarity with ICU bundles such as ABCDE and VAP is beneficial.
