Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Location: The healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse to join the Medical Surgical team. This role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing patient health, implementing care plans, and providing health education. The position requires delivering supportive and restorative therapies directly to patients or through delegation and supervision within an acute care setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 3-12 hour days, 0700-1930, with rotating weekends; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (graduation from an accredited School of Nursing) required; BLS (American Heart Association) required; 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include performing nursing functions, delegated medical functions, health data assessment, health teaching, and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Additional skills include health counseling, therapy and treatment, patient referral, and managing therapy and treatment plans.
• Preferred qualifications include previous experience as a Registered Nurse and certifications appropriate for the specific unit or service.
