Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Night Shift Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical and critically ill patients in a six-bed Medical/Surgical/Observation Unit. The position requires overseeing complex patient conditions, including post-cardiac catheterizations, respiratory failure, sepsis, and unstable arrhythmias, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Position Description: Full-time ICU nursing position in a specialized unit caring for critically ill and post-surgical patients, with patient ratios of 2:1 for critical care and 4:1 for step-down care.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Critical care nursing experience, initiation, management of vasopressors, thrombolytics, antihypertensives, sedation, ventilator management, hemodynamic and telemetry monitoring, sepsis management, central line management, arterial line management, chest tube management, blood administration.
• Certification/Education: No specific certifications or degrees listed; 0 years of experience required.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccine is required, with no exceptions. RTO requests are limited to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract. The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment; guaranteed hours will not apply.
• Submission Requirements: Candidate submissions will be considered as per the assignment instructions.
