Job Summary
Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist, Operating Room Open Heart, Aurora, Colorado. This travel assignment supports an operating room heart team performing complex cardiovascular procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and valve replacements. The role requires open-heart experience, strong communication, flexibility, confidence, and a team-oriented approach.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. No weekends.
- Required Qualifications: At least 6 months of current cardiovascular operating room technologist experience in a hospital setting; open-heart experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), DORA, and NBSTA certifications in hand.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience; previous travel experience as a cardiovascular operating room technologist in a large trauma facility; cardiovascular experience.
- Additional Information: Call is required and will be discussed during the interview. Typical procedures include coronary artery bypass grafting, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and valve replacements. Patient experience and effective communication with staff and providers are priorities.
