Job Summary

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Sonora. This position delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned groups of patients while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and professional judgment. The role also supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and promotes safe, healing, and compassionate patient environments.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; identify diagnoses, care issues, and desired outcomes; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote patient health and safety; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; delegate appropriately; coordinate healthcare team activities; and perform other related duties as assigned.
