Medical Surgical (MS) nurse in the healthcare setting. This role involves providing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical Floor environment, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, and coordination. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit.

Job Details

• Position requires Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), and American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Education requirement: Associate Degree or Certificate.
• No minimum years of experience required; 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• The assignment starts on 12/21/2026 and concludes on 01/30/2027.
• Travel assignment preferred.
• Patient ratio is 1:4-5 days and 1:6 nights.
• Charting system required: EPIC.
• Floating: Float rotation may be required to units including Howard Young, Tomahawk, Rhinelander. Floating can be and will be prescheduled if needed.
• The position involves working every other weekend and holiday, with holiday rotation as needed.
• Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Eagle River.
• The contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
