Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department in Carmel Hamlet, New York. The position provides nursing care across obstetrics, including postpartum, labor and delivery, and the well-baby nursery. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; every third weekend and rotating holidays.
• Required Qualifications: New York State nursing license; Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); National Certification Corporation (NCC) Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required within one year of the start of the first assignment; minimum five years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings.
• Additional Information: Provides care in obstetrics, including postpartum, labor and delivery, and the well-baby nursery. May assist on medical-surgical floors when census is low.
