Description

Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position supporting surgical recovery and the delivery of high-quality patient care. The role provides care for patients recovering from general, gynecological, laparoscopic, breast, orthopedic, and other surgical procedures.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active Michigan nursing license.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
On-Call Requirement: On-call coverage is required with a 1-hour response time.
Weekend Requirement: Weekend coverage is required on a varied schedule.
Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients following general, gynecological, laparoscopic, breast, total joint, minimally invasive orthopedic, sports orthopedic, and laser lithotripsy procedures.
