Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care Unit. Performs independent and delegated nursing functions, assesses and evaluates patient health status, and develops, implements, and monitors nursing care plans. Provides patient education, therapeutic treatment, referrals, documentation, and coordination of care in accordance with applicable practice standards and regulatory guidelines.

Job Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or a compact Registered Nurse license; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Additional Information: Provides nursing care, health status assessment, health teaching, health counseling, delegated medical functions, therapy and treatment, patient referrals, and documentation. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, uses available resources, and may be required to participate in on-call coverage during a regularly scheduled shift.
