Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Telemetry. This position provides nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting during night shifts. Responsibilities include patient assessment, telemetry monitoring, medication management, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); registered nursing licensure; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position supports medical-surgical patients with an approximate nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1. Responsibilities may include titration of heparin infusions, troubleshooting continuous positive airway pressure and high-flow equipment, participation in weekend and holiday coverage, and floating between units based on operational needs. Navy scrubs are required, and one to two department-specific orientation shifts are provided.
